Amboseli National Park, located about 4–5 hours’ drive south of Nairobi, is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations.
Known as “The Land of Giants,” it’s famous for its large herds of elephants set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
A 2-day private safari is ideal for those seeking a quick getaway with personalized attention, flexibility, and excellent photo opportunities.

Drive time: Approx. 4–5 hours (250 km)
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport around 6:30 AM by your private driver-guide.
Scenic drive via Mombasa Road with views of rural Kenya.
Arrive at Amboseli by midday; check in and have lunch at your lodge or camp.
Afternoon game drive (3:30–6:30 PM) — spot elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and gazelles.
Enjoy sunset views of Mt. Kilimanjaro (weather permitting).
Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Early morning game drive (6:30–8:30 AM) when animals are most active and Kilimanjaro is often clear.
Return for breakfast and check-out.
Optional visit to a Maasai village en route out of the park (extra cost, ~$20 per person).
Drive back to Nairobi; arrive by 2:00–3:00 PM.
Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
